Kae (They/Them*) has been living and working in NYC since graduating from Wagner College in 2015.
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, they grew up with a musician father and a golden age musical loving mother... so performing was a natural fit. At 16, after years of dance lessons, voice lessons, acting classes, musicals, choir, and everything in between, Kae pursued their dreams of attending Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA as a theatre major. Walnut Hill jump-started their passion for maintaining their theatre education, which is something they remain committed to. Kae's boarding school adventure led them to Wagner College, which led them to living in Manhattan.
Cut to present day: By day, Kae works as social media manager and sales associate at a small jewelry boutique on the UWS... By night, they are usually rehearsing for a cabaret, jamming with one of the bands they back-up vocalize for, taking class, seeing theatre or their fave drag performers, or at home ordering food with their roommates and watching Hallmark *insert holiday here* movies.
*Kae is genderqueer. Though usually presenting more femme, they are not comfortable being referred to as a girl, lady, or woman and use they/them/their pronouns.
